Lori Mostofsky, LCSW-C

My son was in crisis due to parental abuse-he was suicidal.  Lori not only labeled me (his mother) as overprotective, but called my son dramatic in what was the worst and most critical time in his life, in need of support.  Her words and testimony in court cost my children much in terms of protection they needed to get through a very difficult time in our family. She crossed boundaries forcing my son to engage in group therapy with his abuser, and made careless and dangerous, uneducated conclusions that could have cost even more in my sons mental health-maybe his life, if not for quickly switching to better support.  Her involvement was an extreme stressor to our family in a very troubled time of need.  Her responsiveness and lack of neutral communication with both parents, and lack of control over a raging parent during sessions made any appointment a re-traumatizing nightmare.  Especially regarding abuse, Lori Mostofsky lacks the skills and ability to handle victims of abuse.
