Dr. Lori Lee Rodriguez, M.D.

Upon moving to Natchitoches from California, I was nervous about finding a new quality health care provider.
 Dr. Lori Rodriguez is no nonsense, listens well, follows up on what you tell her, makes great recommendations and referrals and really gets things done. 
The walk in clinic is clean, the nurses are quick to respond and the staff is courteous and sees to all my medical needs. 

Very insensitive. Told an older patient, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, that they needed to be thinking about death in the middle of checking their heart. She hadn’t talked to the oncologist and didn’t fully know the patients history. Nor did she did have a full understanding of what type of cancer the patient had. The oncologist even said to disregard her comments. Her actions/comments really dampened our hope. Dr. Rodriquez also disregarded the patient advocate’s requests and made us feel like she didn’t want to deal with us. Worst experience I’ve ever had. I don’t think she’s capable of handling serious medical conditions. Because she’s connected to the NRMC walk in clinic they will refer her every time. I couldn’t be more disappointed. I was traumatized by that experience and don’t have a lot of faith in the local healthcare system.
