Dr. Lisa Beth Freedman, MD

Dr.Freedman always gets right to the point! She talked me through test results that I was concerned by because I misunderstood them! She offered me many many options both holistic and prescriptions and did not force me to chose any options! She waited until I was truly comfortable before ending the appointment!

It is nice to have a physician that understands preventative care.  Bedside manner was great and I was even able to have my blood draw done in the office which saves time by not having to make a separate appointment at Lab Corp!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Freedman as our trusted primary physician for many years. She is a "whole brain" doctor, who combines her extensive medical knowledge with the specific needs of her patients to create solutions that work rather than "cookie cutter" solutions.  When there has been a need to refer us to a specialist, Dr. Freedman immediately knows the correct provider for our needs, and how to reach that provider.   Her connections are unparalleled.  She has a big heart, and truly cares about her patients.  We are so fortunate to have found her, and it is no surprise that year after year she is awarded peer-reviewed distinctive honors.

What can I say about Dr. Lisa? Prior to seeing Dr. Lisa my BP and Diabetes was out of control. I’ve been with Penn Medicine for many years however, my condition was getting worse. I felt as though I wasn’t being told how serious my predicament was getting. Thank God for Dr. Lisa she was able to help me understand the seriousness of my condition and put me in touch with a team of great Doctors who are genuinely concerned. I’m happy to say that 21lbs later I have better control of my BP and Type 2 Diabetes and on my way to achieving my weight goal. Through Dr. Lisa’s honesty and no nonsense approach I’m getting back some years that bad stewardship has taken away.

I've been a patient of Dr. Freedman's for over a year, and my only disappointment is that I did not find her sooner! It is always a wonderful experience from start to finish. I began seeing Dr. Freedman after my previous PCP of several years relocated. Finding a new physician  & having to start over from the beginning can be daunting and overwhelming, but from my very 1st appointment, it felt like I had known her for years. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment.  She's the only doctor that actually listened to & addressed my health concerns.
The office staff is welcoming, friendly, and very prompt. I always leave with a complete understanding of my care and an answer to each & every question/concern. Scheduling an appointment is always a breeze, and I've never had to wait >15 minutes to be seen. She even was willing to flex her schedule when I was late for an appointment due to traffic. 
She's easily accessible, unlike most doctors where you have to call multiple times to speak to the doctor, only to get nothing in return. I sent her a message online and she got back to me herself immediately (on a weekend at that)!
Most importantly, she welcomes your input and doesn't just dictate what she thinks is best for you...she makes your health & well-being a team effort. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and individualized care for a patient while also providing outstanding medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Doctor Freedman made the entire process of scheduling and receiving care easier than I have experienced before. She is very empathetic and treats each patient as if they are her only one. I would recommend her to anyone from parents with young children to the elderly.  

Dr. Lisa Freedman offers a holistic/integrative approach to her patients. She is down to earth and easy to talk with. After years of health concerns, I feel I am on a path to optimal health. My search for a holistic, primary care physician has been successful!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Freedman. She helped me figure out somethings that were fundamental in my path to recovering, and she did so on her personal time. She would take interest in my case even when her office was not technically open (accepting text messages, and phone calls over the weekend, or when she was on vacation). She cares about her patients wellbeing, and wants to do the safest things to help people get better. I appreciate Dr. Freedman and the way she runs her practice. 

Dr. Freedman is an excellent doctor. She was very thorough with my exam. She actively listened to my problems and provided me with the whole picture so that I could understand. The staff at this office are very nice, pleasant and friendly.

Having recently moved to Pennsylvania, I was fortunate to have found Dr. Freedman's office online and have been seeing her for almost a year now. She's accommodated me in many ways, my medical questions are always answered, and the nurses and staff are so helpful every time I go in. I can tell that Dr. Freedman genuinely cares about my health, she's also very direct and focused and I value that in a doctor. I definitely recommend anyone to see her, I go to the location in Villanova and plan to keep Dr. Freedman as my primary care physician as long as I live here in PA :)

Dr. Freedman is amazing at what she does! She specializes in holistic integrative medicine, using cutting edge tests to help cure patients including food sensitivity testing and brain chemical (neurotransmitter) testing. Additionally, Dr. Freedman is very respectful of my wishes to stay away from medications as much as possible and suggested safe and successful alternatives to high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes. In one particular instance, I had been to several doctors complaining of symptoms aligning with a thyroid issue and no one was able to diagnose it other than Dr. Freedman. I would not trust any other holistic doctors the way that I trust and respect Dr. Freedman. I would definitely recommend and have recommended her to all of my friends and family.
