Many providers do not take the time to listen to the patient. Lisa Hill is no different. However, she still managed to offer condescending commentary, jump into conclusions, and reprimand me on trying to assert my rights as a patient. All because I pointed out that it is within the patient’s right to select any pharmacy that is in one’s insurance network and that it not the provider’s role to impose where to fill one’s prescription. This form of behavior and attitude would be inappropriate in any interaction between a provider and a patient. The fact that this occurred in the context of mental health services is that much disappointing.
