Dr. Lanae Kay Miner, MD

We love Dr. Miner! She is truly the most caring and compassionate doctor with such a wide knowledge of medicine. She acknowledges every concern and treats us with respect yet diffuses any concerns we have with her gentle, thorough explanations. We are so lucky to have her with both of our children and are so grateful for her. When I was pregnant with my second and delivered her a trimester early, we had not yet notified Dr. Miner, but as soon as she got the records of our daughter, she intentionally reached out to checkin on us. That experience cemented how much she truly cares beyond just her job, but more on a human level. Some doctors radiate the reason they're in the field, and Dr. Miner does just that and exceeds all our expectations.

Dr Miner is by far the best physician (pediatric or otherwise) that I have ever seen. Not only is she is extremely knowledgeable, but she is exceptionally gifted in her communication style. So often it can be difficult to get providers to understand a medical concern and for them to explain/address the issue fully to you. This is not the case with Dr. Miner. She is always so thorough and understanding and, of course, excellent with children. She is the reason that we choose to come to this clinic. You are very lucky to have her and the care team that works with her. Pam (I believe) and her medical assistant (sorry, I cannot recall the other individual's name) are also excellent.

Dr. Miner is absolutely incredible. Like any great doctor, she takes time to listen to us, always asks follow up questions, listens to our concerns, and offers incredible advice about our children's health and well being. But the cherry on top is how kind she is and how wonderful with children she is. Our kids feel so comfortable around her and going to the doctor isn't a scary thing when we know that we'll be meeting with Doctor Miner. We hear horror stories from friends about their pediatricians and we are so incredily blessed to have her for our children. 11/10. You guys should pay her more!

Dr Miner is an amazing pediatrician. We have been seeing her since she first came to Swedish Edmonds and she is truly outstanding. Her ability to communicate to children at their level while making them feel heard and validated is so important - we look forward to visits with her - while my daughter has no chronic medical problems and we only go in once a year for a form to be completed, she remembers us and follows up on minor concerns from the prior year. I would not trust anyone else this much with my daughter's care. I hope she doesn't leave before my daughter ages out from seeing her!!!

Dr. Miner is the best! She is so kind and spends so much time at our appointment. Doses a great job talking to me (mom). And also making sure my daughter (11) is comfortable and understands things related to her body & the steps of appointment. Very personable and knowledgeable! We love her!

We love Doctor Miner and her whole care team! Our whole lives are on the Eastside. Daycare, work, friends, etc. But even though it would make more sense to find a pediatrician over there as well we love Doctor Miner too much to ever consider switching. Lololol!

We greatly value having Dr. Miner as our daughter's primary doctor. We have wished several times that her assistant or the med tech that gives our daughter's shots could be friendlier and better with kids. She's a bit Icey.Thanks for the survey.

Dr. Miner is the best combination of medical expertise and thoughtful, compassionate care. She has always been respectful, kind, and thorough, and she's truly been a gift to our family in how she cares for our children.

Dr.Miner Is amazing! She is great talking with kids and asking the right questions to help get to the right answer and explain why things are happening and what it means to help kids understand and feel okay
