This therapist told me she was out of network and then charged me $250 per session. She was in-network the whole time. She returned my money after I got her in trouble with my insurance company but never apologized for affirmatively misleading me. Before I realized what she had done, I even fired her because I couldn’t afford her anymore and she pretended she didn’t know she had been ripping me off. I have all of this in writing. She’s an awful person and has destroyed my ability to engage with a therapist. As a person who also works in direct services, I’m disgusted.
