Dr Shields has been my PCP for eight years. She is BY FAR the best physician I have ever had. She listens to me, she remembers my history, she is supportive without ever being judgemental and is one of the most trusted people in my life. I have told her many times I would never have made some of the huge, positive changes in my life if it weren't for her encouragement to take my health seriously, including gently pushing to consider bariatric surgery. It took a few years for me to really consider the idea but now I'm six months post-op, I've lost almost 60 pounds and I am no longer diabetic! It never would have happened if she wasn't part of my healthcare and support team. She is a competent doctor that is passionate about caring for people on their terms. We are lucky to have her!!!

I already went on and on But I can and WILL expand on that. I am a bit of a medical anomaly. I make doctors say "hmmmm". Dr Shields doesn't give up on me when the answer Isnt obvious. She Is quick to Identify when Ive needed a specialist and has gotten connected me with a wonderful neurologist as well as a few surgeons In our time together as doctor and patient. All of this through Providence. (PS I was supposed to ask about a punch card for MRIs. I've had a bunch of those with you guys. Is my tenth one free?). So not Inly does she represent your brand well, she refers well to partners within your brand. Not just an all star physician, but an all star representative for your entire health care system.

Other than the office being a bit behind schedule everything else was great. Everyone was polite, helpful and I got all the things I was expecting to have done at my appointment taken care of. The doctor was super helpful and friendly as usual and made sure I understood things I need to do after my appointment and when to come back.

Dr Shields was available for an urgent appointment for my infected finger. She was thorough during my visit and follow up from testing. She consulted an infectious doctor on my test results, kept me updated and prescribed antibiotics as needed in a timely manner. So thankful to meet and be treated by Dr Shields.

Dr. Shields is an amazing provider. I have been with her for over a decade and it breaks my heart that she is leaving Providence. I wish I could follow her. She is kind, knowledgeable, personable and so concerned with her patients' care. Providence, this is a huge blunder to let Dr. Kimberly Shields go.

I was extremely pleased by the care provided by Dr. Shields. She is not my regular PCP, and I saw her for a same-day appointment for some concerns. She was very thorough, answered all my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed in addressing my concerns. Another great experience at Providence.

I've been coming to Dr Shields for 14 years. I drive half an hour to get there because she is the only doctor for me. She has seen me through some of the hardest times of my life with compassion and encouragement. Take good care of her. She is a rare treasure of a human being.

Dr. Shields stepped in to see me and was excellent. She got me scheduled for x-ray, write me a prescription for topical pain ointment for my knee, and followed up promptly in the results of me x-ray. I was very pleased with her care and attention.

I've never loved a doctor or a clinic as much as I do Dr. Shields and the staff I've worked with. I know they've worked hard to accommodate my tricky work schedule and everyone is patient and kind. I really can't speak more highly for all of them.
