Ms. Kedar Grace Thomas, LICSW

Kedar Thomas was mediocre. I wasn't crazy about her.

Kedar helped me to recognize how I was allowing others to control and manipulate me causing me to not live my most authentic self. Kedar taught me strategies to work with negative self talk, evaluating memory perceptions and challenging formal views from others. Would absolutely recommend Kedar as a clinician, her laid back, realistic and compassionate approach were incredibly comforting when challenging past memories. 

I couldn't stand Kedar Thomas. She talked down to me like she was a preschool teacher and didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I don't recommend her at all.

Maybe Kedar Thomas would be an okay therapist for a different type of person, but I just found I had nothing in common with her and was therefore unable to relate to any advice she gave me. In hindsight, I should have switched to a different therapist, but I thought the problem was me, that I was unable to listen. She definitely messed with my head and set me back a ways. I finally have a therapist I have more in common with and am making progress on my autism and bipolar. As I said, Kedar may be a good fit for a different kind of person than me, but if you have the choice, I'd recommend selecting someone else.

Kedar Thomas was very unhelpful to me as a therapist. When I felt bad, she made me feel worse. I've seen therapists off and on for 20 years, and she is the worst one I ever had.
