I was referred to Dr. Zand for a root canal consultation. Unfortunately the tooth had to be extracted. In the course of the exam Dr. Zand patiently explained my options which led to a reference to a periodontist who extracted the tooth. I was impressed by Dr. Zand's evaluation and recommendation. He is a young practitioner familiar with the latest dental technologies and treatments. It was also reassuring to have a digital low dosage x-ray taken that immediately appeared on a large monitor that he used to explain the condition of the infected tooth and surrounding gums. Hopefully there will not be any root canals in my future but if the day arrives I will return to Dr. Zand.
