Kathryn Redman, DPT

I've been extremely fortunate to work with Katie Redman on problems stemming from my spinal stenosis and also on a painful injury of my right shoulder.  In both cases, her training and clinical experience made it possible for us to get right down to business.  Her approach to physical therapy is carefully thought out and well organized, leading to noticeable progress after just a few sessions.  I'm particularly happy that my shoulder has gotten so much better that I can once again do my normal workout at the gym.  

Katie is a gifted teacher who clearly explains her treatment plan.   (I say this as someone who has done numerous classroom evaluations of college faculty during my forty years of teaching college physics.)   She has assigned exercises that are compatible with my osteoporosis and explained both why they are okay for me to do and why they are essential.

As a welcome bonus, Katie is as kind and patient a physical therapist as I've ever worked with.

I should add that the clinic where she practices, and which she will soon be leading, Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Center in West Hartford, provides a cheerful, open environment and a positive vibe.  I would not go anywhere else.  As I continue to need physical therapy, I hope to be able to continue to work with Katie.
