The assistant questioning me prior to my appt with Dr. Harris, was very pleasant but I wish she didn't fall into the category of listening to hear what she thought I'd say. There is a skill set to asking questions to get to the best answers efficiently, and I'd suggest this particular assistant (and most at Prov) be given some specialized training. As to Dr. Harris, she Is a rare practitioner in this world today. I was overjoyed at hearing the news that I would be seeing her since I wanted to have her as my doc since about 2019! Not taking away from the other 2 that I've seen because they were terrific as well. At least with my OB-GYN (and URO-GYN) care at Prov, I know I'm in good hands!

Dr. Harris is probably one of the best doctors I have had in my 73 years. She is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in me as a person and my health needs. The only thing that could be improved upon is the policy that does not allow appointments more than 60 days in advance. This makes return visits that are designed six months out likely to be seven months or eight months because of the scheduling difficulty. This in no way reflects on Dr. Harris, but on the policy set down by those who do the scheduling.

My yearly gyn visit was delayed because of an insurance contract issue where I was told I could not see a Providence provider. I waited to see Dr. Harris, as I am not interested in seeing anyone else. The contract issue was resolved and I am now "allowed" to see her again. I feel so comfortable with Dr Harris. I have been seeing her for many years. I also appreciate the entire clinic in the way it is run. All staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is spotless! Thank you! It means more than you know.

Not only does Dr. Harris deal with my GYN issues, but she looked at my chart & noticed another problem which I'm dealing with...a torn Achilles, & she took the time to explain in a MyChart message something that may help with the calcium deposits in several places in my body with inflammation. I love the fact she helps me with issues that she has researched to help me. She is fantastic & I'm thankful to be in her care, working alongside my primary care provider, who highly recommended her to me years ago.

While I understand that the Medical Assistant was extremely busy, what came through from her was friendly but hurried. When I later reviewed the visit report, not all the changes were captured that I had noted on my medications. I think she captured most of them and maintained a friendly and respectful manner, despite the apparent rush. The wait time was close to an hour. Made up for by the thoroughness of MD.

Dr Karen Harris is an amazing doctor. She is always researching the latest "organic" information for women, and shares it in a totally professional manner. It is clear that, unlike many doctors, she actually cares about her patients. She doesn't just look at them as clinical specimens, but as whole people. She treats the whole person, which is the way, I believe, "medicine" should be practiced!

Dr. Harris is thorough, compassionate, and informed. She gives me helpful information to improve my condition. Concerning knowledge/access to my records, I recently had a sonogram with results she could not access. The Image was ordered by my GP with Dr. Harris' recommendation. This Is not a comment on Dr. Harris, but rather to note that not all providers share records systems.

This was my first appointment with this provider. Everyone from start to finish that I was in contact with was very professional and respectful. They all made me feel at ease and was very impressed with the cleanliness of every area I saw. The doctor was very knowledgeable about my condition and what the plan of care going forward would be. Dr. Harris ALWAYS spends a quality amount of time with me, ensuring I don't feel rushed and that everything relevant is discussed! She's absolutely the very best doctor I've ever had, so much so that I followed her to Providence when she relocated her practice. I've never had a doctor who cares about her patients, and shows it, as much as Dr. Harris does.
