I needed a new prescription for self-lubricating catheters, and the doctor was terrific. He asked me a few questions about it, and he was happy to prescribe it for me. And I will see him every year (if I need help I can come in) because I am quite stable with my caths, and I have used them since 2004. Great doctor, and my appointment for next year is already set. There were no bad experiences, and I am very happy with this doctor.

I found Dr. Slongo easy to communicate with, extremely responsive to my questions, listened to my concerns, and involved me in my health care decision-making process. I had requested him as a change to my previous third-party (non-Kadlec) provider, and my experience with him validated that decision entirely...my experience was as close to perfect as I could have imagined and the results all that for which I had hoped:-)

Dr Slongo appears to be proactive with regard to future testing to ensure there is no developing issues, which is highly appreciated. I needed a blood test prior to my appointment, but I had to call to ensure that an order was in place so I could get the blood test. As always, you the patient, must stay on top of your health care issues, because only you will be looking out for your best interests.

FIRST TIME VISIT WITH DR SLONGO. HE WAS VERY PATIENT ORIENTED, LISTENED TO MY QUESTIONS; PROVIDED EXCELLENT INFORMATION AND FEEDBACK ABOUT MY CONDITION AND PROGNOSIS. WAS COURTEOUS, PERSONABLE, AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. DR SLONGO IS HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND I WAS TOTALLY PLEASED WIHT HIS SERVICES. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT I HAD TO WAIT 5 WEEKS FROM MY ER VISIT UNTIL THE APPOINTMENT WITH DR SLONGO.

Not only WOULD I recommend Dr. Slongo and his practice at Kadlec urology, I have DONE SO. Dr. Slongo is personable, caring, and efficient. His peers, staff, nurses, and PAs are all friendly and professional. The nature of urology treatment being inherently humiliating, they all do a fantastic job of being professional and clinical while maintaining an atmosphere of warmth and humanity.

Dr. Slongo has always been the best with the good care for my situation ! Since I have had the urinary problem that one doctor in Kadlec's system completely ignored & just let me suffer with so that Kadlec had to transport me to another city & doctor there to care for .. Dr. Slongo has made certain to take care of things so I no longer suffer with my problem as I did when it began !

Overall very positive experience with Dr. Slongo. Only real downside, is absolute lack of ability to reach anyone on the phone. All calls went to an answering service and only 1 out of multiple was returned. I did have success with communication through Mychart; if that is the preferred, or really the only method of communication, then that should be communicated to the patients.

The check-in process was smooth and easy. Dr. Slongo was friendly, knowledgeable, and appeared concerned about my health and welfare. Most importantly, I did not feel rushed or that I was merely another patient and not an individual with my own concerns and needs. And the entire facility was clean and, from my perspective, up-to-date with current technologies. Well done!

Dr. Slongo took care of me and my family during a scary time. He put my mind at ease every time I talked to him before and after my surgery. I could not have asked for a better surgeon and would whole heartedly recommend him to any one. If I could give him even higher scores I would. Dr. Slongo and his team are the best!
