Drove to Provo from Southern Utah for a competent Endo (without a 4 month wait).  Dr. Ajammal was excellent. He gave us 45 minutes for the visit.  I was very anxious due to a scare from an incompetent  radiologist in town, Dr. Aljammal quick ascertained the problem and offered to do a second ultrasound.  We had a very respectful interchange of opinions and he offered explanations to all of his responses. I am very happy so far with HIM.  His office staff is unbelievable, and not in a good way. They do not return phone calls.  I have had incorrect scripts called in and when I called to straighten it out they were not very willing to correct the situation.  When it came time to refill my medication, "they" denied the refill request from the pharmacy. I was told she did not know why it would have been rejected, must have been on the pharmacy's part? No accountability, no responsibility.  I had a reaction to a generic and asked her to submit the necessary paperwork to the insurance company so that they would cover the script and she told me that was too much work, she wanted me to try something else first. I did because it was a Friday and I had already gone 4 days without medication and she insisted it would take her 2 weeks to get that approval, however the insurance company told me they could have it approved that day.
Five stars to the Dr-but please train your staff to be competent,  compassionate,  understanding and how to return phone calls.
