Joy provided me exactly what I needed for my life circumstances. She gave me a safe place to deal with my emotions, depression, and anxiety with no judgment. She gave me tips and tools and supported me on my healing journey. Her personality was a great mix with my own - just enough wit, a dash of sarcasm, and perfectly imperfect - exactly what I needed. I needed a guide as I walked through some dark times and Joy was exactly the ray of light I needed to help me stay on track through the really tough times. The office is pleasant; inviting and cozy with coffee or tea while you wait. There is quiet pleasant music with books, magazines other resources to peruse. I never waited long and the very few times I waited I understood my counselor was finishing up with another person. I've always respected that some day I might be the person making her late so I've never begrudged waiting a few minutes.
