in 2011 the doctor determined that my 6th grade sons 4th and 5th vertabrae in his back were not attached due to an injury as a toddler and were protruding into his spinal cord which could cause defects in the growth process. By placing him in a full back brace 24/7 for over a year . Enough scar tissue had fused them together. We monitored the tissue for several years . At that time the Dr determined it had hardened enough to play sports for the first time. What a miracle! He currently plays lacross at the varsity level for a prominate High School. BTW...
