Dr. Jose Lisandro Gonzalez Martinez, MD

I first saw Dr Gonzalez-Martinez while in Memorial Pembroke Hospital.  He was unable to perform the needed surgery at that time due to an infected blockage, but I followed up, as per his instructions and saw him in his office.  A scheduled gastro ballooning was scheduled in November, however his staff did not follow through with obtaining the correct documentation from my insurance company.  Although I made several calls to his office, no one ever returned my call and I called the hospital to verify my surgery was being performed the following day.  To my shock, the hospital did not have me scheduled.  I contacted the office the same day and the following day and no one returned my call.  When I finally reached them a few days later  they had no idea what was going on.  I was scheduled again on Dec 8 (today) but had heard from the hospital saying my surgery was not scheduled as Pembroke Memorial is not a part of the Memorial Hospital group.  I immediately contacted the doctors office again, left messages and made several calls without a response.  As of this moment I have not had one response from his office.  Dr. Garcia Martinez, I absolutely trusted and like  you, but I will NEVER RETURN TO THAT OFFICE AGAIN.  His staff is clueless and not interested in his patients.
