Dr. Jon Brant McGregor, MD

I felt as though my concerns and confusion were heard and addressed with a good bit of respect and maybe a bit of humor (in a GOOD way). I had my spouse with me, who is a medical professional, and Dr M had no problem at all with clarifying a number of points brought up by either of us. I felt like Dr M used data driven reasoning for his responses without being a slave to it. That is, he reported grey areas in the body of research without undermining its general principles. He also discussed alternatives if one course of action seemed less effective than expected.

Dr McGregor is the most thorough physician I have ever experienced (since I was a child). He never makes me feel as though he is rushed, listens carefully, exhausts all options for my care and is very kind. He is one of a kind in admitting he will follow up on his recommendations to me with research and get back to me if he finds options which might work better. I am very grateful to have been referred to him.

I had seen Dr McGregor about a year ago. He met with me in the ER after I had another syncope episode and scheduled me for an echocardiogram. I met with him 3days later to discuss the results of the echo and treatment for these episodes. Started me on a new medication and follow up appointment. Was very kind and caring.

McGreggor gave me time to discuss and address my questions and concerns. I appreciate that he clearly keeps up on current practice and research, and is generous in sharing it when I show an interest. I also appreciate his down to earth style...casual but professional which puts me at ease.

He answered questions as we asked them and cleared up some misconceptions about medications and self care that had been questions on our minds. We felt as though we had learned what we needed to continue our healthy lifestyle with the information the doctor had discussed with us.

He was easy to talk to and answered my questions. He explained the plan for my care clearly.he also gave me a game plan If I had a bad AFib episode, so I would not have to go to the ER. His nurse contacted me a few days later to check how I was doing on the new medication.

Dr McGregor is the best doctor I have ever dealt with since I started cardiac care. He listened to me and he chose to follow up with testing to get to the cause of my shortness of breath and tiredness. I feel that he saved my life by getting me the care I needed.

Your question should reflect the medical specialty of the practitioner I saw - Heart. Many of the questions are poorly worded to assess the situation. Dr McGregor addressed my concerns and we developed a plan of monitoring my condition over the next year.

He answers my questions and also says when he doesn't know the answer. Very approachable, respectful and reassuring. His nurse gets back to me on My Chart by end of day after consulting with him. I feel that I am getting excellent care with Dr McGregor.

The Dr used word about what he was talking about in words I understood not the medical terms because some of the medical words I don't know what they mean so I felt he understood that and gave me one of the best experiences I had ad a Drs visit
