I saw Dr Idoine and had X-rays done on my shoulder. I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder and given an injection that day. It hasn't helped much yet but I am hoping that it will. I have a followup in a month and will get another injection then probably. If these don't work I will probably need surgery. I had no issues with the doctors demeanor. He was friendly and professional.
As soon as Dr. Idoine entered the room he had a superiority complex. He questioned every doctor I have seen leading up to the visit with him and gave the attitude that any other doctor other than himself doesn’t know what they are talking about. He would ask a question, then when I started to answer would glare at me as if I was in there faking everything. I was cut off every time I tried to explain my situation and told I was not listening to him. I literally got in 1-3 word replies then cut off. Then he had the nerve to say I’m getting frustrated and he didn’t know why. Geez, I really wonder why. He changed what could be wrong multiple times. His facility took X-rays showing everything was normal. I had to go to a rheumatologist partially due to these issues and she could see I had osteoarthritis. She ordered X-rays again only weeks after Idoine did and the X-rays diagnosed bilateral osteoarthritis of the knees. He looked at these results and said some stupid radiologist read them and that meant nothing. He was the surgeon and he doesn’t even need to look at the X-ray to know what is wrong. He said,” I’m a little girl who is just now growing up and realizing what it’s like to be old.” Come on. I’m 40 and I know getting old entails these challenges but I’m also a nurse and know bullshit and arrogance when I see it. I have issues with my knee buckling, popping, grinding etc but according to him every 40 year old or older has this condition. Comical really! My primary doctor was an idiot, and the rheumatologist and the radiologist was idiots as he stated in a nonchalant way. I think we all know who the real idiot is and it’s Mr. Idoine! He contradicts everything he says and bounces off the walls while in the room with you. Never let anyone talk to you like you are a crazy person because some people can’t get over themselves and only want to be right when clearly they are wrong. Nobody is perfect but if you want to save your time and money and the stress of being belittled then don’t see this man. You will leave the appointment feeling gaslighted and like a liar. Least that’s what he tried to accomplish. He failed on this patient but don’t give him a chance to not give you the medical care you deserve! You will thank me later! :)
