We have been taking our son to Joan for a few years now after several other Audiologists in Southern California could not create the right programing for his cochlear implants. After dozens of visits with other providers we were refered to Joan both by our school districts Audiologist and our Surgeon. 1st where other providers try to test and program two processors in 40 minutes or less Joan takes about 3 hours to dial in the programming. however in the first 30 minutes the results were remarkable. Litearlly 5 other providers in southern california could not even get close to the results that Joan produced in such a short amount of time. We see Joan twice a year for testing and programing updates and our sons speech and hearing perception are now the same as his peers that have normal hearing.
