Ms. Joan Beverly Land, MS

very attentive to detail, well educated and well spoken would recommend. dont listen to other reviews from trolls. Remember she does  help people who are mentaly disturbed in some way.  Also very knowledgeable and obviously self educated on current and ongoing topics of human behavior 

Joan Land allowed her own personal views on faith to steer her advice in my therapy. In my understanding, a therapist should not encourage their clients one way or another in subjective or open matters, but she openly put forth her input and spoke against my more open approach to spirituality. Additionally, after my divorce and amidst severe depression, her advice in relationships was that (I quote), "we live alone, and die alone," ergo, we must find self-sufficiency. I quit therapy and have found healing in investing, not pulling away, from my relationships. 

I would caution anyone attending therapy with Joan Land to filter what she says, and question whether it is research guiding her recommendations, or her own personal convictions. Therapy is a vulnerable place, and I was hurt by the time I spent with her method, finding it wildly unprofessional for a counselor.
