Dr. Feranec performed my laparoscopic myomectomy, removing 2 fibroids, with one weighing almost 1 pound. The surgery was a success and I could not be happier with the care I received. She explained each detail thoroughly and answered every question I had. Prior to my pre-op appt with Dr. Feranec, I had one doctor inform me it was highly possible that I could lose my left ovary during surgery because of the fibroid location and size. I felt emotionally defeated, so I was extremely terrified to speak with her. She assured me that it was not a realistic scenario, and that she had plenty of room to perform her work. This illustrates her skill in the OR, and furthermore how important of a decision it is to choose the right doctor. It is hard to find a doctor that has a plethora of surgical experience, and treats you as a patient and not just another task to complete to get through the day. Dr. Feranec treated me with so much care, constantly checking in. I’m 4 months post-opp and I couldn’t be happier!
She’s a terrific doctor, surgeon and a great human being.
