Dr Shaw and his team are AHHHMAZING! I was rushed to UPMC Presby in Pittsburgh for emergency back surgery. Dr. Shaw along with his team greeted me and my best friend with opened arms. He explained what he thought was going on from the horrible MRI that I gave him. (He was right on) He then explained my only option telling me that I was only a few days from being completely paralyzed. He gave me a moment and then came back into the room explaining himself even more. He was very forward with me in telling me I may never use the left side again. He did the surgery and then more than what he had thought. The 2 hour surgery took 6 hours. I woke up in absolutely no pain at all. He still was at my beside every morning. This team is truly my favorite.
