I went to see Dr. Johal for multiple neurological symptoms and barely started to describe what I’ve been experiencing when he jumped into prescribing me medications, also before examining me. I made it clear that I hadn’t heard of any of the medications he was mentioning and he didn’t take the time to explain my options, yet assumed I would be able to make an informed decision. It felt as though he wasn’t really paying attention because he was constantly looking at his Apple Watch. I had to repeat myself multiple times and he would often pause halfway through talking to read a new notification on his Apple Watch. I wasn’t able to discuss/get care for most of my symptoms and it was a waste of a visit.
