Spoke with Dr. Jan today after leaving a voicemail yesterday morning. Dr. Jan was possibly the least supportive person I've ever spoken to which immediately came across in the first 30 seconds of our conversation. She asked me to tell her everything I'm experiencing personally immediately without knowing her or developing any kind of relationship first. I told her my immediate need is to being the process to obtain a recommendation for an emotional support animal and I'm also looking to work through some life experiences to better myself. She said in the most condescending tone that she doesn't write recommendations for emotional support animals because she believes they're bogus but there's a million places online where I can do it. I told her I'm interested in doing in the right way, not just through a fake online service and she said she can't help me so she's not the right person for me. I said I thought as a professional she would help me find the right avenue to resolve that immediate need and then help me work through the other challenges I'm facing and she said that's not her job and she's not interested in helping me. Super rude. Super condescending. Can't believe this woman is licensed.
