  I had an appt with him in March.  He told me all my pain was in my head and there was nothing he can do for me.  Told me to go back to my primary care.  Told me I was trying to self diagnose myself when I mentioned  I had carpal tunnel and possibly Lupus or arthritis.  I ended up getting a second opinion and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis as well as carpel tunnel.    The second doctor guessed who Dr Peterson was without me having to tell him and said he gets a lot of his patients.  I wonder why.  I can't imagine I'm the only one with this issue.  The sad part is his staff is amazing.  Wish I could say the same for him.  I know now why it was so easy for me to get an appt with him.  He obviously isn't busy and I can see why.  Definitely not an asset to intermountain health
