Dr Smith is awesome, love him! He takes the time to explain in very clear terms what is going on with your spine, what's causing the pain, and how he proposes to fix it. He is never quick to jump to surgery, providing multiple options to try to relieve the pain before resorting to surgery.
My issue was with the staff - Dr Smith said he was prescribing meds but the pharmacy never received the order. When I called the office to follow-up they said they were going to need to talk to Dr Smith before getting the prescription called in.  It took 2 days and 6 phone calls to the office before the pharmacy received the orders.  When you're in pain like I have been, the last thing you want to worry about is prodding them to get the RX called in. 
They also schedule him for more appointments then he can handle - I was his last appointment of the day and he was a full hour late coming in to see me.
