Anyone with a mental illness beware! I saw Dr. J for many years. I attempted to not be alive 10 times after he terminated me with no cause. I am alive, no thanks to him. I will never be the same. He would say "I love you, I'm not going to abandon you" at the end of our appointments which I don't think was appropriate- especially because that's exactly what he did. He set me up to make me feel loved, and then dropped me out of nowhere when his office said I didn't pay my bills which was false. Then out of nowhere he accused me of being rude to staff when I hadn't. I went out of my way to say thank you and show appreciation. Nothing and I mean nothing, was ever Dr. Nainaparampil's fault. Anything that ever came up in treatment he always blamed on his boss so he could seem like he was completely without fault. He never took responsibilities for his treatment decisions that hurt me. And there were multiple occasions he did not make me a part of the treatment team. He lied. The doctor patient relationship is sacred, especially when that doctor does therapy with you. He terminated in the middle of treatment without recourse, never even letting me say goodbye. I never got to see him again. I never got an appointment to process or ask questions. Now I have no access to mental healthcare. I live in an area with no specialists like Dr. J. He is not even honoring managing my medication for 3 months. I cannot ask vital questions about the medications he's prescribed- especially ones that can cause you to not be alive if you withdrawal improperly. I asked him to get off of that medication 3 separate times over our treatment and he said no because he didn't think it was a good idea. It was a good idea. I did not want to be on that medication. 3 times I formally asked him telling him the medication was changing my personality, making me angrier, and I wanted to get off of it. He did not listen. He stopped seeing me in the middle of our treatment without valid cause. I have asked for proof on many occasions and the office is unable to do so. Now I have no medical guidance, no medical providers in my area, no therapist I can talk to, and I lack the knowledge that he could provide me with of how to get off this medication properly over time. I've cried every day for 2 months straight- I cry eating dinner, I cry myself to sleep. I wake myself up crying in the middle of the night. He and his office ghosted me when I needed him the most. This makes it very clear that he does not care. He also suggested over and over I take a break from medical school - well I did. And what was supposed to be one semester turned into a year. Now, I may never be able to go back. What a horrible idea. He played with my life and I trusted him so I did what he said. I wish I never trusted this provider. Thanks for ruining my mental health Dr. J. I deserved better. I deserve an apology.
