Dr. Hebatalla Khaled Allam, MD

The doctor took the time to listen to everything that I had to say. She did a very thorough exam. I think it was the most thorough exam that I have even had a doctor preform. She listened to everything. I wrote this two page thing about symptoms that I have had from over a year ago and she not only listened to me tell her, she also skimmed the two pages to make sure I didn't forget to mention anything. Then she explained what what happening, what her diagnosis was and what the treatment plan was. Then she had me schedule a follow up in three months. I know other people that have had trouble with providers in rheumatology listening, so I am recommending her to them.

It seemed like it took a bit of awhile to get my first appointment, but I am aware that initial appointments generally do take a while. However, I was very pleased with Dr. Allam. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel confident I was in good hands. I had ended up arriving early for my appointment because I was not sure how long it was going to take me to drive from Walla Walla and find the office. I brought a book to help take up the wait time, but I never got a chance to read it because I didn't need to wait long to be seen. It seemed like I was in and out in no time.

I am old, disabled, and have complex health issues. I understand fully how much time doctors are allotted for patient care and how difficult it is for them to even have ME in their care. Part of that is because of my complex health and another part of it, is because of my personality. The latter, I am working on.Dr Allam Has been very patient and understanding with me, More than she should have to....so I am going to attend my future visits with her, being better prepared.She is an amazing doctor and a wonderful person at the same time, yet very professional!

Everything that my doctor does is good. I have repeatedly done these surveys so you can look back in the past and see that I have continually stated that she is one of the best doctors I have ever had and she works with me and takes Into consideration my weaknesses in communication and she has found a way to keep me on track. I have ADHD and OCD and I can get sidetracked and this doctor has your ability to communicate with me so that does not happen. She is simply amazing!

I have seen rheumatologists In TriCities - and a majority of that time at Columbia Rheumatology now Kadlec Rheumatology - regularly for almost 30 years. Dr. Allam is my all time favorite so far. She is knowledgeable, efficient and precise w the diagnosis, shows concern and focus during the visit (= amazing social skills), communicates very well, listens and takes Into account my circumstances, my own experiences and thoughts on my illness and treatment.

It was my first visit with Dr.Allam and I was extremely satisfied and happy with her expertise and kindness. She did not rush me when I am expressing my medical concerns but she took time to ask me many detailed questions to learn about my medical history. It was very obvious that she cares about her patients. She was very thorough and informative about my test results and prescription modification during the follow up phone call the next day.

Very knowledgeable in my disease and attentive to my specific history. She's clear with her answers and goes out of her way to be sure I don't have additional questions and to understand test results etc. She also is very communicative and quick to reply between appointments when I have questions. I feel very well taken care with my specific conditions and concerns with good advice but not pressured into anything. I really appreciate that.

I'm always treated very respectfully with kindness and understanding, which is very much appreciated as that doesn't happen to me with most of my other Dr's. Dr Allam her staff, nurses, front office, and lab personnel are all wonderful to be seen by and all very helpful, kind, considerate individuals whom I have the pleasure to call a big part of my care team.

If a medical clinic could be a "pleasant" place, I think I would say Kadlec RA could almost fit that term expression. If I phone/text about appointment schedule, medicine question, etc. I receive quick responses. The reception staff are helpful, my time in the infusion room-maybe...enjoyable. And visits with the personable doctor are great. Yeah, pleasant.

Being a Black woman I actually felt recognized and understood by Dr. Allam where other providers seemed to not care. She didn't see me as a number but as a person. She had great professionalism and I have already recommended her to a friend. We need more providers like Dr. Allam. Thank you for having an outstanding provider on your team.
