I specifically called this practice to get a price estimate and they were NOT very forth coming. I had to call 3 times with a different approach to get them to even give me an estimate. We were new in the area and trying to find a reasonably priced practice. The front staff is hit and miss. Sometimes cold and snappy, other times warm and friendly. I don't usually wait long in the foyer or in the doctor's room. But Dr. Jones was my biggest problem. I came in for a basic little cold, I wasn't shaking it. She turned the visit into longer than it needed to be, claimed my appendix could be the issue. She ordered me blood work, urine tests, and wanted me to go in for an abdominal scan. I thought it was an over reaction and wasn't going to get the scan ($900) until I saw the blood work first. Surprise surprise, there was nothing wrong and I didn't need the scan and there was NOTHING wrong with me. She had the nerve to bill me as an high risk/maintenance visit because SHE made a big deal out of nothing and I told her I felt fine. She made a big deal out of some tenderness, literally, that was it. The visit alone cost was billed $360! That is not including the urine or blood. When I called to ask them to please bill me at a basic rate, they said no.

Dr. Jones was very nice, but had knee jerk reactions, billed me higher than needed, and was completely wrong about everything and couldn't answer/help with the simple issues I went in for. The practice is not impressive either. Dealing with the billing was upsetting and they were slow with answers. Her friendliness does not make up for expensive costs and lack of critical thinking. Though timely, this office has not be nice to work and unsympathetic.
