Dr. Heather L. Kipa-Joseph, DO

Dr Kipa was amazing. I had a quite bad experience at my appointment prior with a midwife who attempted to remove my IUD with no success. Afterwards, I did not receive the follow up phone call to schedule my ultrasound guided IUD removal and when I called, was given wrong information, stating that this would just be a consultation when in reality it was not, and was in fact an appointment that I should'v prepared for by taking prescribed medication ahead of time. Dr Kipa was very apologetic for the care I had received made me feel much more comfortable. We scheduled my procedure to be done in an operating room which is something that I had previously asked to do and had been told was not an option. She seemed to be really rooting for me and for my best interest. She helped me decide which birth control I wanted to use next with providing me great info about all of my options. I would love to continue seeing Dr. Kipa and will highly recommend her to anyone looking for an OB.

Dr. Kipa is the absolute best. From the minute I met her as a new provider a few months ago, to my recent surgery she performed, to the pre and post-op appointments - she has been nothing but knowledgeable, caring, concerned and honest - but also pro-active and preventative about my health. I have thoroughly enjoyed having her as my doctor. She listens to my concerns, answers all of my questions and gives me the full picture of options available to me so that we can collaborate on a solution. She responds via my chart in a timely manner as does her team. I feel both heard and seen by all of them. My decision to leave my other provider due to poor service at a different hospital network has been re-affirmed again and again by the excellent level of care that she and her team have provided to me. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a new OB/GYN.

Dr.Heather was very attentive during my visit. She sent me to imaging for fibroids, once the results were out I had to follow up since no one from her office had called to talk to me about the results. Dr.heather finally got back to me, interpreted my results through the chat on my app. I'm very disappointed because I require surgery for this, but she made it so impersonal by using ChatGPT to explain to me the type of surgery I should get, dint take the time to call and interpret the results.. I mean this is my health, can I just get a Dr who is not robotic and explain to me over the phone what I'm dealing with????

I was extremely pleased with my care! Dr Kipa-Joseph was caring, understanding, listened to me and explained everything very well in a way that was easy to understand. I felt like my concerns were taken into consideration and she made me feel as comfortable as possible while she performed the procedure. Both Dr Kipa-Joseph and her nurse were so kind and caring. They both had students as well and they were also very professional and helpful during the procedure. They all made a procedure I loathe doing a much better experience than I expected. Excellent care all the way around and I am very appreciative!

I recently had a follow-up appointment with Dr. KIPA-JOSEPH Six weeks after my surgery. She conducted a thorough examination of my healing progress. When I informed her that my abdominal incision hadn't fully healed, she took immediate steps to address it. The follow-up process went smoothly; my doctor listened attentively, asked insightful questions, and provided timely care and responses, especially when I mentioned concerns about my recovery. Her warmth and genuine concern for my well-being significantly impacted my healing journey. I am grateful for her expertise and compassionate approach

This was my first appointment with Dr. Kipa and it was for a surgical consult. She explained things in detail, provided options and told me what to expect during recovery and after. I scheduled with her based on reviews and she did not disappoint. The clinic staff were all professional and only complaint was at check-in as I was standing in line at the sign and another patient walked up to a window and was checked in before me. Line of sight from the multiple stations was not good, and even the person that called me said she has a hard time seeing over her monitor.

I came into this appointment, ready to have to fight tooth and nail to get my fallopian tubes removed, but Dr. Kipa just listened to my concerns about a bipolar relapse if I got pregnant and told me it was my bodily autonomy and I got to make the choice. She is absolutely the coolest doctor I could ever imagine and I've already recommended her to one other person! I feel so secure having her preside over my surgery because she is also totally knowledgeable about the procedure on top of completely respectful of my body and my autonomy.

The care I received from the doctors, nurses and administrative staff has been exceptional. Everyone genuinely has listened and heard my concerns. I received calls back from nurses in a timely manner. One nurse even messaged me over the weekend to see how I was doing. Dr Kipa is a new doctor for me and she took the time to look back at all of my records in efforts to better understand my situation and medical needs. I have never received personalized medical care from any other medical team. I am deeply grateful.

My PCP had put in a referral to OB/GYN group in February. I decided to see a dermatologist instead. Later wished I had seen OB/GYN. Received unexpected call from provider about an available appointment-decided to take it. Knew nothing about this provider, but from visit, thought she was terrific: knowledgeable, friendly, warm, easy to talk to. Asked nurse if this provider could be my PCP but she only does OB/GYN. I will definitely go back for any future OB/GYN issues and will recommend her to my friends! )

Dr Kipa is the 1st doctor I have visited in my adult life who made me feel like she actually cared whether my time with her improved my life/health in any way. She made me feel heard. She took my concerns seriously. She made me feel safe enough to share my concerns with her. She performed my hysterectomy wonderfully- she took care to do as little damage as possible given the nature of the surgery. I am healing way faster than I thought I would. I would recommend her to anyone
