Dr. Heather K. McNab, DO

When I first became a patient about 11 months or so ago, the office kept rescheduling my appointments. As a RN myself, it is just unacceptable unless there is a true emergency. The doctor is all over the place when she enters the room. It seems as though she is not as knowledgeable about medications and certain conditions which I understand but I don't really want a doctor guessing on what could be the issue. I am really in the driver seat of my care by requesting referrals. During my last visit she was avoiding getting me a new EKG test that is required for preop screening. She stated. "You had one in the last year, maybe you don't need a new one." But I told her it would be good to have a new one right before my surgery. Anyhow, I may switch providers because I am just not satisfied with the care I'm receiving.

Dr. Nab's, office was polite and helpful. Dr. Nab, explained all my health concerns and helped search for 3 specialist that was highly recommend along with referrals. I have never had such a wonderful experience since I met Dr. Nap. She is so understanding, nurturing, loving, and doesn't treat me just like another number on her chart. She answers all my messages on my chart. I highly recommend Dr. Nap to anyone that is looking for a smart doctor. That listen's to her patients and cares about their health. I've already have appointments lined up along with my referrals this coming month. Dr. Nap, has made a follow up appointment with me for next month so we can discuss my health concerns and the details that will assist me and her with getting myself back to a healthy life..

This was an urgent care after regular provider hours because I had Covid. Dr McNab also too k a chest xray because Dr Tassa my regular provider thought one might be necessary. Dr McNab also prescribed a cough suppressant that was very very helpful. She also was going to give me an antibiotic but we opted for a chest xray that showed I didnt need it. She was very concientious about my needs and wants. Doctors yoday always seem to ask the patient what they would want but she made it clear what her preference was. Its important for a doctor to make that clear. After all she is the knowledgable one and the patient doesn't always know what is best.

I haven't seen a provider is about 7 years, so I know I have a lot of things I need to work on. I'm terrified of doctors and doctor visits. Dr. Heather Mcnab has been the best one I've experienced in my adult life.She definitely spent a lot of time getting to know me, during this appointment. Since we were establishing care, my only complaint is that I felt like she would ask me questions and then cut me off, or not quite listen to my responses.I know I can be a bit lengthy with my explanations (hence this longer review) but if I'm asked a question, I expect to not be cut off. Overall, I'm grateful and hopeful to continue working with her!

This doctor was an urgent care physician. She spoke so quickly I could not understand her and had to ask her to slow down. Her attention was irratic and scattered. She spent plenty of time with me but I left the office very dissatisfied and frustrated, not understanding the nature of my problem. My husband was with me and had the same reaction. Normally we have excellent care through urgent care visits when necessary. I followed up with my regular physician the following day for evaluation and treatment of my problem.

I was very grateful for Dr. Heather K. Nehab's treatment . I was in alot of pain with a boil. Her treatment help me signicantlyWith the pain.. And her treatment helped me to avoid further pain. In truth, I can only praise her to the utmost. She Help me so much! I would like to write her a personal note of how thankful I was for her excellent treatment. Where and how may I get her address to write a letter to "Urgent Care' to thank her?

The wait time was really long. I was at the office for 2 hours! Most of the time I was waiting in the room alone. I was frustrated that I spent time filling out questionnaires online but the doctor repeated all the questions. Dr. McNab was mostly good but talked really fast and was clearly rushing through the appointment. Overall, I got the things I needed, but again, it didn't need to take 2 hours.

This was my first visit to the Providence Urgent Care. I was very satisfied with the entire process. All of the intake workers were very friendly and helpful. Dr. McNab was very upbeat which put me at ease. She listened carefully to my situation and was able to prescribe medication to ease my condition.

The Dr was excellent-I'd come in as I'd stepped on a piece of glass, which had cut my foot. I'd removed the glass but foot was still hurting so I wanted to check if it was ok. The Dr listened attentively, knew my medical history and offered me different solutions. And she's got a great personality!

This is the very first time I saw Dr. Heather McNab. I needed a prescription for physical therapy for my neck and my regular doctor was out of town. Dr. McNab was wonderful and actually worked on my neck during the office visit. She's an OT not an MD and I hit it lucky.
