If I could give a ZERO start rating I would. My wife had a video appointment to talk to Gretchen about issues she has been having, especially related to the death of her father. During the initial 5-10 minutes, Gretchen asked a few questions and while my wife answered Gretchen looked very distracted fumbling around with some papers. My wife then got into her fathers death and how it was traumatic for her. As soon as she finishes, Gretchen then asks my wife IF SHE REACHED HER DEDUCTIBLE. So my wife gets done talking about a death she has held onto for 15 years to a complete stranger, and Gretchen has the nerve to put the brakes on the conversation and asks about payment?? 10 minutes into the freaking session. I believe, she had weeks to figure out if the session was covered and what our responsibility would be. After that, she tries to tell my wife Aetna makes you hit the deductible first before copayment kicks in, then, I believe, tries to convince my wife to just pay the full $130 so they can continue. Mind you, it's only a $30 copayment for us. So not only was she completely gross for stopping my wife's session while she was talking about her father's death to ask about payment, she was completely wrong about our financial responsibility and tried to tell us we owed something different. How gross...... It takes a lot for some people to finally give in to see others about issues they are having. And then when they finally do, someone kicks them in the gut, disregards their feelings, stops everything and asks about payment. How about you do your job and look at our insurance before the session, ask about it upfront, or wait until later? Or get a focking assistant to do it?
