Gretchen Murchison is NOT a neutral third party. What could possibly go wrong? When it was pointed out to her, because perhaps she didn't realize that she was consistently taking only one person's side and choosing not to validate or acknowledge the other person, she just smirked, so obviously, it was intentional. Not one therapeutic, calming, comforting, soothing, nor a constructive word ever came out of her mouth in three explosive sessions. Left feeling more frustrated and upset after each session than the one before. She was NOT helpful AT ALL. She made our family situation WORSE, leaving a greater divide than before we started seeing her. She’s definitely an instigator. Would most certainly NOT recommend her for family counseling. She takes no notes, but criticizes the client for doing so. When asked when she intended to start administering some actual therapy, she got offended and abruptly ended the session mid-way through. Very unprofessional. She gets a kick from gaslighting one party and then watching the family dynamic burst into flames. She’s a HACK! Do yourself a favor and find a better therapist than Ms. Murchison for your precious family.
