Dr Grace Ruidera prescribed my 80 year grandfather dimentia medication and when he forgot to refill it after the first month she never mentioned it again. 2 years later a family member took him to see her about his short term memory loss and discovered she never followed up with him about why he stopped taking the prescription. She never asked how his memory loss was doing and NEVER formally diagnosed him with any type of dementia. In fact she prescribed him the same medication 2 years later that clearly says in its overview to increase 5mg dosage to 10mg after month and to visit with patient every 4 weeks. This was in April she asked to see him again in August. Unfortunately my 80 year gma was also her patient she has seen Dr Ruidera several times over the past few year with complaints about pain in her arms. She was told it was arthritis and age.  In November of 2016 her forearm began to swell by the time she was able to get an appointment it had progressed to leaking fluids from her skin. Dr Ruidera treated  her swollen forearm and seaping skin with antibiotics and a sterile gauze wrap. Less than a week later my mother noticed a disfigurement and swelling in her shoulder and took her to emergency room because of the tremendous amount of pain she was in. The problem was not just 1 but 2 severely dislocated shoulders. The right shoulder was so badly dislocated she had developed a life threatening infection and required emergency surgery. How is it my 60 year mother noticed something so obviously wrong but a trained licensed physician failed to fully exam her entire arm.  The amazing orthopedic surgeon said that my grandmothers right shoulder had been dislocated for so long that it had worn an area of bone down in her shoulder and she would never have full use of it again. He went on to explain that her left shoulder needed surgery as well because it too has been dislocated for quite some time. Dr Ruidera is a disgrace she has caused my grandparents irreversible damage and I wouldn't let her treat my dog let alone a family or friend. I'm in the process of working with the proper authorities and organizations to file formal complaints of malpractice and neglect in the mistreatment of patients. I sincerely hope & pray she isn't allowed to practice medicine after they investigate her blatant disregard for patients well being and health. Aside from the ridiculous 3 month wait to get an appointment with this so called family physician once you finally do get in to see her, plan on being there on average 3 hours to receive approximately10-15 minutes with Dr Ruidera . Although the majority of the 10-15 you do see her she spends more than half of that time pecking at a computer keyboard telling you to "stop talking to me while I'm entering my notes because I can't listen to you talk and type at the same time." She is lucky I'm a Christian I have never been so insulted and shocked by a Dr.  In my opinion Dr Grace Ruidera is rude uninformative, extremely neglectful and has no business what so ever treating patients.
