Dr. Garth Thomas Porter, DDS

Dr Garth refused to return my phone call and request for a different antibiotic and pain med.  He is a mobile oral surgeon at Aspen Dental on Wilma Rudolph Clarksville TN ..I'd provided him with written instructions about medications that I have adverse reactions to, yet he injected with with a local anaesthetics that were on my medication list to AVOID...This most likely caused me to have an emergency situation and I had to visit the emergency room for treatment.  Also,  I had to visit my general dentist to find out why I was still in pain 2 months later from the lower molar extraction and had to chop my food in bite size pieces because I was very limited in how wide I could open my mouth to eat.  The dentist stated that injections can sometime cause muscles to become immobile and gave me a referral to a specialist.  By the way, Dr Garth finally emailed me several weeks later asking if I needed to return for a visit with him.  I declined!!!   I do not recommend him or Aspen Dental  and I wish I could retract the earlier good review I 'd done on him the day of my service. Aspen Dental staff seemed not to care about my situation and was quick to let me know their doctors didn't have anything to do with Dr Garth's patients.  

Omg!  This doctor and staff at Aspen's Dental  provided phenomenal service and compassionate care!  I have adverse reactions to certain medications and Dr Garth and staff were so accommodating and caring,  unlike a prior oral surgeon the day before that refused to accommodate my needs.  I highly recommend Dr Porter Garth as a skilled surgeon and compassion care!!!
