My wife has been dealing with heel pain for almost a year. An x-ray was taken of her foot. The doctor spoke so fast, my wife had to ask her to speak slower. That is when the problem seemed to have started. The doctor essentially boiled the options down to: a steroid shot, therapy, or orthotics. All expected. My wife explained that she has been wearing good orthotics and stretching multiple times per day and the issue has only become worse. The doctor then got upset and said, “I’ve given you the options, what do you want me to do, what do you expect?” My wife calmly responded, “I don’t know but I think we are done.” The doctor quickly relied with, “yes, I think we are” and stormed out of the room. Unbelievably unprofessional.
