Multiple examples to support my son's dental procedures experience at the Darnestown MD location: 
-  Questionable billing practices: Charged me a co-pay when my insurance plan does not require one,  after I pointed it out, I got a refund.   I was also billed me out of pocket for a bitewing image while it was fully covered by insurance.  After I pointed out, I got a refund.  If I had not, who knows? 
- Untruthful doctor and staff:  Told me they would obtain pre-authorization before procedures, but I was not presented those information and instead I was presented a bill after the service.  Is it not the courtesy to obtain patient's parental approval?  
- Unethical:  insisted and automatically give my son laughing gas for each procedure, where he doesn't.  I had not known that it is actually not required, so I had to pay out of pocket and also resulted my son not be able to return to school for the rest of the day after each procedure.  
The materials they used were above the reimbursable grade by Aetna, and of course they did not seek approval from me prior to the procedure.
- Rude: lastly, the office staff including the receptionists are snooty. Not a positive experience overall.   Good riddance that they are no longer an in-network practice for Aetna.
