I liked Dr. Kada, but she is the third doctor in 4 years that INOVA Endocrinology has lost, three doctors and the closure of the facility I went to with a switch to one 2 additional miles away.  Given the difficulty with getting an appointment with an endocrinologist which takes 6 months INOVA cancelling an appointment a week before and rescheduling for 2 months later was unacceptable.  When I tried to change my doctor the choices are very limited and most work for INOVA.  When I tried to reschedule with another doctor at INOVA they cancelled my prior appointments.  I have liked my Doctor's but INOVA cannot keep them and the stress of all these changes, without assistance is getting to me.

The first visit went fairly well but every subsequent visit went very poorly. She stopped listening to what I was saying and tried to get rid of me as fast as possible (would try to end virtual visits after around 45 seconds). On top of trying to brush me off constantly, she seems to have her facts wrong. I'm not a medical person but I read my results, she did not and proved that by trying to give me treatment for something I didn't have. This was confirmed after she finally checked my chart and realized she was wrong. I had to go back to my primary care to find out what she was testing for because she refused to tell me and just said "you'll see it in the order". I'm not sure if she thinks the explanation is in the order but for anyone not medically trained it means very little.
