Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation is a procedure that destroys and removes a thin layer of the uterine lining. It is usually performed to treat heavy menstrual bleeding, especially if bleeding cannot be controlled by medications. After an endometrial ablation, periods often stop completely.
