The people in all the various capacities here are very helpful & positive which is extremely important with the illness they treat. They are exceptional. I wish there were longer hours & weekend options but they do get us in reasonable time. Some of the needed tests (scans) & visits with other doctors in the system take a bit longer to schedule, but even those are not unreasonably long waits. Not sure if it because this is a deadly disease & they know it is best to stay as positive as possible, time constraints, or other reasons, they have not discussed the negative possibilities if treatment doesn't work; perhaps they do so if treatment isn't working or further down the line. It may also help to sometimes clarify what the blood & other tests results mean & what steps, if any, the patient can take to improve their odds to get well or better. These people are great & I hope I do not have to leave due to negotiations of medical groups or insurers, or rising costs or limitations on procedures, doctors, etc. I have recommended them several times already; they are light years better than my previous insurers & doctors. The last I was with 5 years & they didn't listen, didn't diagnose what you had then often prescribed unneeded drugs, & finally delayed exams & tests for over a year based on " you had the best colonoscopy ever 4-5 years ago so don't need to check further " which probably is why the disease metastasized to stage 4. I hope I always get medical professionals like yours that truly care about the patient. It is, & they are appreciated.

Dr Grussie is always extremely caring and compassionate - he really seems to know how to help deliver messages whether good or bad in a manner that is appropriate for the patient, as well as a spouse! Dr Grussie also knows how to balance In humor when appropriate yet remains professional. Its pretty remarkable that he always remembers everything in detail about each visit - no matter how far back - impressive! He's also great at making you feel inclusive with your care. The entire office is great!

I am totally satisfied with my care. I feel like I have a whole team on my side and they all want me to win my health battle. They scheduled all the appointments, all I had to do was show up. My brain was in shock and they all did the thinking for me. I am so happy with my care, I am constantly talking about my team and how great they are.

Seems honest, answers questions, listens and has a warm manner. Works In a very cooperative fashion with my other physcians. It may be his style but he usually doesn't palpate any aspect of my body compared to previous Oncologists I have seen who usually check my liver for any abnormal changes.

Doctor Grussie is the type of person who cares about you and knows how to communicate and can save you from cancer! I appreciate my doctor his staff and the hospital every day enjoying my life. Thank you Doctor Grussie and thank you to his crew you guys are amazing!

A very pleasant experience. Dr Grussie shows genuine concern, is delightful to interact with. He is unhurried, attentive and puts you at ease. Made a serious medical issue much less threatening. Provided welcome reassurance as to treatment

Dr. Erwin Grussie has been treating me for Multiple Myeloma. He is so good that I drive from Palm Springs weekly to receive Treatment from him. I strongly recommend hm and will continue have him as my primary oncologist as longs as needed.
