My husband and I both see Dr. Jemison. We both like him. He's caring, kind, listens and tries to help. That being said, we often can't get into see him. If we have any reason to cancel, it's 3-6 months before we can try again to get in depending on the reason for the visit. We end up being seen by someone else who doesn't know us and doesn't know Dr. Jemison, and who says, hey, sorry, you will have to wait until you see him. This is really frustrating. My husband was in agonizing pain with a complication after surgery and wasn't sleeping. It's very stressful to have to pay for and make it to 2 different visits because our provider is so busy all the time (2022-2023). It's also stressful and frustrating when trying to pick a provider, there's not currently a successful way to match our families unique needs with a provider that is familiar with those needs. The current system has been useless for matching us for the last 5 years. Dr Jemison certainly has done his best to try to help us with access to care he doesn't have a lot of experience with or when we need referrals. The office is good about responding. My husband prefers to message and says he has gotten a good response.

When I brought up my health concerns during the visit, I was not looking for immediate solutions, but Dr. Jemison took my comments seriously and changed the direction of our conversation to address these new issues. He was very flexible and had great recommendations for me to feel like my needs were being addressed. He made sure to tailor my physical exam to closely assess for possible "red flags" that could have been connected to my concerns. He made a referral to a specialist and encouraged me to follow up with his office if I have not heard back from the referred clinic for scheduling. He was a great provider to visit with.

This is the very first time I've ever been seen by a doctor and actually spent a meaningful amount of time discussing concerns with the doctor. Usually you see the doctor for 2 minutes and spend the rest of your time talking to an assistant or sitting in the room alone waiting. I felt very comfortable speaking about all my health concerns and satisfied that the doctor was intently listening to me and very clearly wished to discuss fears and put Into montion a satisfying course of action to figure out what the underlying cause of my symptoms might be and a game plan to begin healing.

I really like Dr. Jemison and his staff. I have regular check up appointments every 6 months. When I have had health concerns, I typically have to wait until my next scheduled visit because his schedule is so booked up. If I had an immediate health concern, I would have to take time off work to find a time to get in to see him, and even then it would probably be at least a week wait. His staff is very responsive to message on MyChart, though.Although I like Dr. Jemison, I can tell he is pressed for time during my visits, and they are quite short.

He's through, very informative, this last well visit seemed very rushed. But I like his care, and great at explaining everything. He's really good at easily calms my worries and nervousness being there. My last PCP made me very nervous at times. Dr. Jeminson is really good at explaining and making you feel at ease. I really appreciate how he checks every avenue that contributes to your health and explains the overall picture that can affect your health plus the longest picture to improving ones heath.

I always have a good experience with the people themselves, the receptionists, the lab techs, the nurses and the doctor. I always feel like a get enough time too. I'm sure it's for efficiency and good use of time, but there is something about the system of:"You're in room ten. Here's your card. Follow the instructions." Go into the room. Press the button. Something about it feels a little like moving cattle. It hasn't affected quality of care in any way. That's just what it makes me think of.

I was very pleased with the doctor---Jamison---and appreciated his explaining to me what was happening. He shared the X ray with me and explained clearly and with drawings what was happening to my foot. I would be more than pleased to see him anytime and really was grateful for his taking time to be as thorough as he was. You are, in my opinion, fortunate to have him as part of your team.

In all my years both in the military and civilian community, this has/is athe best medical care from the moment I walk-in to the time I leave. I am so grateful to be lucky enough to be greeted and seen by a wonderful staff such as this. My wife and I can't say enough good things about the people and facilities. Thanks for doing a great job.

Dr. Jemison is always upbeat and well prepared for my appointment. He recently correctly diagnosed a nerve issue I was experiencing that an ER physician missed. I had never heard of it and he relieved my mind. I feel lucky to have had Dr. Jemison as my family doctor. He uses all the tools at his disposal to give me complete care.
