I have noticed more improvement each time I visit. Generally, everyone Is in a hurry to get things done in a timely manner, but I did not feel that the quality of work was compromised. As an example, the blood draw was easy and painless because the phlebotomist had a sense of humor in addition to having knowledge about blood that takes years to acquire. The doctor had smooth transitions from one task to the next and had time to inject personal conversation about family and friends. She answered all my questions during the visit and expanded on items that helped me understand my health objectives, that went beyond other doctors that I hear about from my relatives. She also replies to my messages on MyChart very quickly. On the whole, it was good visit and I learned a lot. Thank you.

In the medical challenges we have confronted in the last few years, there is no health care provider anywhere ever to whom I would rather entrust my family's and my own health to than Dr. Swingle. I don't know how she can be so involved, informed, responsive and caring for so many people, but many interactions over the years have shown she can and does. She obviously works well with her staff, who are also caring, effective and knowledgeable. She communicates very clearly about her in depth knowledge, and also Is very clear about the limits of medical research. Dr. Swingle has had a huge positive health impact on my family, both as individuals and as a family. We are very, very fortunate to have her as our caregiver.

Dr Swingle is fantastic. I feel that she cares about her patients. Even though I know she is very busy, she ALWAYS takes whatever time is necessary to answer all my questions (and I usually have a lot). Also, I have frequent travel complications with my medication and she always goes the extra mile to help ensure I have what I need in order to maintain continuity while traveling. Lastly, she is incredibly knowledgeable and makes me feel at ease with how readily she can explain the effects, impacts, and mechanisms of treatment. I live in Lynnwood WA so I prefer not to commute to Sandpoint, but I continue to do so because I trust Dr Swingle.

I feel extremely lucky to have the health provider I have. She is always concerned about my health concerns and wants me to be as healthy as I can. I am 81 years old and she wants me to be the healthiest that I can be and to enjoy the highest quality of life that is possible. If it hadn't been for her care and concerns and being persistent that I have a mammogram ( a previous health provider in Alaska told me I didn't need mammograms' any longer as I was over 75) my breast cancer may not have been detected and the results could have been a lot different than they are. So I think she is fantastic and genuinely cares for all her patients.

I like that I have seen this PCP for several years now. She spends extra time with me instead of making me feel hurried and incomplete in our appointment times. She is very knowledgeable and seems compassionate and understanding understanding. I do not always do what she recommends but I think she understands my reticence when it comes to taking much in the way of prescription meds she might recommend. She knows I also lean toward alternative medical help for some things I have problems with. She never hesitates to give me a referral to another type of specialist when needed

Emma is top notch, she listens, cares deeply, follows through, gives my children the choice to make regarding treatment, thorough, RESPECTFUL, does not rush us, she asks great questions, really thoughtful answers, writes letters of support to the children, she is one of a kind. And knowledgeable. Very informative which puts us at ease, we feel confident in her care. That is rare and we are grateful We know that we matter to her and it feels right, especially in these days of medical care where I feel we are left to navigate it alone. We love Emaa and her office staff.

My care provider is very careful to address and record many details. However, she types information, updates, and conclusions directly into the record as she talks to me. I feel, and have felt before when this happens, that she is more focused on her typing, even though she does sometimes type while she is looking at me and talking to me. That is quite a skill, but I tend to fall silent so as not to interfere with her typing. She is thorough and caring, but the time conserved in multitasking in that way has tinged the experience for me.

I feel I always get an excellent, compassionate care with my care provider and her team and this recent visit was quite exceptional. I really love how well she listens to my concerns and how very engaging and respectful she is with all my questions and my preferences. I received exceptional care from Dr. Swingle. It has always been good, but since this was the first time in a while that she'd seen me in person she took so much time and care to listen to everything I needed to talk about. She was kind, empathetic, and looked at my different health concerns in a holistic and respectful way. She also seems very knowledgeable and trustworthy, and never dismissed information from my own lay research I brought in or asked about.
