Ms. Jacobs was listed as a recommended provider through my insurance website. I google searched her first and found no website that mentioned whether or not she was accepting new patients, so I called Ms. Jacobs to inquire whether or not she was accepting new patients, as her specialties were very much in line with what I'm looking for in a therapist. She answered the phone abrasively, and when I very politely soft spokenly asked, "Hello, I was wondering if you are accepting new patients?" she aggressively yelled, "No, no I'm not," and just hung up the phone. I saw another review online that said she was rude and hung up on someone, but I thought it must have just been a one off. I cannot believe this person provides behavioral health care to individuals. She almost made me cry she was so aggressive and off putting. I would not recommend calling her, and I would suggest she hire a receptionist who can treat people with a bit more respect if she finds herself unable.
