I worked with Liz for a short time with some underground psychedelic work. As an autistic person with trauma I found her at first glance to be outgoing and knowledgeable. She spoke highly of herself as trauma and neurodivergent informed but wasn’t able to deliver when it came down to behaviors. She engaged in non-consensual touch and non-consensual topics of discussion. She told me about other clients experiences. No names but it seemed detailed enough that it was violating. She talked about what was true about experience without taking time to understand my beliefs or needs. Having successfully taken psychedelics with guides before and after my therapy with her it seemed to me she was always high on psychedelics and in the love space and she didn’t take time to ground herself. She would say spiritual bypass statements such as claiming my hardship were all about love or spiritual concepts. I tried to bring up my concerns once and she was not open to hearing me so I ended up drifting away from therapy. I spoke with a couple of friends and other psychedelic therapists and they said unfortunately that narcissism, bypassing, and manipulating behavior is all too common in psychedelic therapy. This person should not be practicing and claiming all this woke advertising because it’s clear she has not done her own self-work. Be careful.
