Dr. Elizabeth Axelrod Stegmaier, ND

Dr. Stegmaier is kind and easy to talk to. The appointment didn't feel rushed, like a lot of doctor's visits do these days. I went to her to address my acne and hormonal health questions. I decided to go to a naturopath over a dermatologist, because I want to avoid pharmaceuticals and look for more holistic healthcare. My goal is to get to the root of the problem (what is causing the acne), versus just covering it up. I was surprised that Dr. Stegmaier's first suggestion was Spironolactone. It was my understanding that we would discuss diet/nutrition, lifestyle changes, and herbs, before she would mention pharmaceuticals--not the other way around. But perhaps I just did not do my due diligence when looking for a provider and that a fully naturopathic, or even homeopathic, doctor is what I am looking for in this case. While I think it is hard to make a true judgement after just one interaction, I will look for the services I am desiring elsewhere.

My visit with Elizabeth was excellent. I came in with a handful of issues that seemed like they might take up too much time for one appointment. Not only did she address all of them, she got me in early so I could make it back to work on time. Elizabeth is a wonderful listener, patient, kind, and understanding. Despite barriers I had previously faced in healthcare, Elizabeth responded to my needs while making me feel dignity and worth. I really appreciated her care.

My experience with the office and Dr. Stegmaier was exceptional. Reception and the nurses were great. Dr. Stegmaier was patient and knowledgable about what my issues may be about and direct action was taken to ensure that, finally, I could get answers and go to the next step instead of being dismissed like I was so many times before coming to the office. Overall a great and needed visit.

I have been very happy with the care I've received from Dr. Stegmaier, she has helped me to feel like myself again after going through menopause. She also helped to get my thyroid function normal again. Dr. Stegmaier is patient and caring, I've never felt rushed or that I'm asking too many questions. I appreciate getting such great medical from her.

Elizabeth stegmeier is the best provider I've ever seen. She is the first person who seems to remember who I am even when a whole year goes by. When she doesn't know the answer, she finds someone who does and that is so important to me.way better than offering false assurances. I've recommended her to friends, family and clients.

Elizabeth is very patient and kind. She Is a good listener. She put a plan together and order tests that I needed to find out what is going on. I did have to wait a long time to get in, but that was because their nurse couldn't come in that day. She seems very knowledgeable and thorough.

I love Dr. Stegmaier. She is an amazing human, an excellent listener, a caring provider. I've recommended multiple friends to her. She's supportive and compassionate, works with me to create care plans, and I trust her implicitly. Please give her a raise and keep her forever. )

I now understand what it's like to visit a healthcare provider who is not only knowledgeable but also takes action to ensure my health today and tomorrow. I plan to call this ND my medical home. I have trust in her medical advice, moving forward with my health.

I had a traumatic experience by almost drowning. The care in which Dr. Stagmeier treated me was beyond exceptional. I wish all health care providers were this good. She even called me the following day to check on me. Don't let her leave as she's exceptional.

My provider is awesome. While I had to wait couple months for appointment and some changes from initial appointment in March (fam emergency for my provider) she is worth a wait! I appreciate her care and concern for my health, in getting me best answers.
