AVOID. 0/5. The receptionist said they could take me same day at no extra cost due to a cancellation, but when I arrived there was a THREE hour wait. During this time, I heard men and children screaming in pain which was a warning of what would come. I ended up declining treatment due to how rude the staff was and how long the appointment took overall. I arrived 2pm and did not get up and leave on my own accord until 7pm. They billed my insurance for services I did not receive. When my insurance rejected their egregious claim, they sent me a bill with different numbers (showing they're just making it up as they go). This is when I found out they scheduled a periodontist (DR. DOUGLAS DOMPKOWSKI) to do a general practitioners job so they could charge double the price. I did NOT request a specialist. When I questioned the billing, I found that he lied saying he saw me and recommended a plan when I was waiting alone the entire time and have never met him. Awful experience to have an office make false claims for money. Is this facility that desperate? I go to a different dentist office now and have always had amazing experiences. I will NEVER come back to Maryland Dental Specialty Group Aspen Hill/Silver Spring or Douglas Dompkowski.
