Dr. Diane Rainford, WHNP-BC, PMHNP-BC

I had a very positive interaction with this provider and recommended her because I also work in the MH field and could 'feel the vibes' and it was so natural discussing therapies and issues . I have somewhat of a general knowledge of what I wanted (or so I thought) and am familiar with the supportive holistic therapies that were mentioned. She explained who she is, her nursing and psychiatric education and experience, and how/why she has a specialty in 'Women's Mental Health'. It was a good fit for me because I am going through Menopause and have been depressed since childhood. She also offers MH medications, so this alleviates my having to go to two different providers (a psychiatrist and a therapist) which don't make sense to pay twice.
She was very positive-minded and asked the right questions. I look forward to starting and am grateful that she is covered by Aetna/CVS. I actually found her on the Alma website for therapist and was not sure that I had coverage and was even open to paying out-of-pocket if necessary because I know she's worth it.
