I have seen Dr Trusky about 5 times over the last couple of years, after first time I met her I knew something was off with her personality but I gave her the benefit. After my experience on 8/21/2018 I should have trusted my gut the first visit and found another Dr. My initial visit I waited more than an hour for her in waiting area and then another 30 minutes in a room. This 8/21/18 visit topped it all, I made an appointment to recheck a mark that had resurfaced after she had removed it in April (and neglected to provide results of the biopsy) and to ask about additional areas of concern as I was rushed last visit due to her lack of bed side manner in April 2018. This time she had me wait 1 hour in waiting area, and told me as a courtesy she saw me and that I was late, but what I received in service was anything but courteous. Dr became agitated as soon as I started asking about different moles, I was told she could only discuss 1 incidence with Aetna (new to me); she also charged me a new patient fee without explanation even though I was an existing patient. I said I made the appt to ensure I do not have skin cancer and that if necessary I would pay regardless of insurance. I mentioned that a mark she had froze was only half removed, she was rude to her medical assistant questioning whether she performed the initial service, she was dismissive and aloof, she did not listen to what I was asking and she kept telling me this was not an emergency. I never said it was an emergency, I took the day off to get screened and she said she could not deal with this today. After she walked out of room and left medical assistant perplexed I asked her to have a conversation with me, where she stated she was releasing me as a patient, and continued to repeat that this was not an emergency. I am still dismayed by her odd behavior. Dr Trusky needs to understand that patient is also a customer and my time is as valuable as hers. Anyone who conducts themselves so erratically, dismissive to patients, and only cares about insurance premium is obviously in the wrong profession. Staff has room for improvement when you over hear them talking about patients and then the Dr.
