Dr. Dennis Sang Chang, DDS

This review isn't about the Dentists as I think all of the Dentists are very nice. My complaint is about the receptionist and her nasty attitude when I went in for service. I went in for service prior to today and at that time I did not have dental insurance. Today when I went in I mentioned that I now have dental insurance and the receptionist asked me how much I was going to pay. I told her nothing because I have insurance and her response was  rude stating that they need insurance information prior to the appointment and I should have called and gave them the insurance information prior so they could see what my co-pay would be ahead of time. I do know that they can take insurance information the same day of service to find out what coverage I have as I was unaware that they cannot take insurance the day of service. I told her I was not prepared to make a payment today because I thought I could give them my insurance information the same day and that I will need to reschedule. She then stated that I would be charged $50 for cancellation. I told her I was not going to pay that fee because I showed up and it is not my fault that she did not want to process my insurance. She insisted that I would be charged a cancellation fee so I left the office without getting service. She could have worked with me but made no effort to provide quality customer service.
