Dr. Delphine Glorieux-Sullivan, MD

Well where do you start with this nightmare and mad scientist of a surgeon, This letter may seem real personal because it is this Lady (surgeon) has ruined my life and she to top things off she refuses to return phone calls, and I only have questions she knows she did a HACK job on my foot and was not qualified to do the surgery.

On Jan 12th 2014 I ruptured my Achilles Tendon, NO MRI was taken and Dr Sullivan said you ruptured your tendon and need surgery, I mentioned to  her at the time that I only wanted the procedure to be done right so I do not have problems in the future so please whatever is the best course of action please lets do it.  I asked if we were going to d a MRI and she said its not necessary for this type of injury it is pretty much routine repair. I still had questions but told her she was the expert and to do what she thought was best,

So on Jan 16th I had surgery and once I was in the Operating room and Sedated, She opened my leg up about 13 inches and was shocked by the Damage in my leg, A witness in the operating room said she took a deep breath because as she told me "this was one of the worst ruptures I have ever seen if not the worse"

Well now she was unprepared and I think did not know what to do so she put the tendon back together and wrapped about 3 inches of Tendon from heal to above ankle with some sort of Graft material she used allot as I had a huge lump where she did it, then she wrapped even more graft material below the calf aboutu 2 inches long and again used a allot of graft material as you could see by the large lumo there also, I never spoke to her after surgery,

I saw not here but 3 different people over a course of 4 weeks once a week and no one explained what was done and when I finally spoke to Delphine Sullivan she told me about the severity (as mentioned earlier).  I asked her questions about the surgery and was given no real answer I told her my foot hurt pretty bad about 2 inches above the ankle on back of my leg all the way to the calf she said"its just healing) well this went on for 5 months and everytime it was its just healing WELL I went home to Minnesota and while I was there I saw a real Orthopedic Surgeon he ommediatley did a MRI and when the results cam e in he said (not knowing I had surgery 6 months earlier) He said "WELL back in the day your surgery was OK) I said"BACK IN THE DAY I just had this surgery 6 months ago" He could not believe that someone in todays time would do such a outdated and incorrect surgery for type of injury I had.

The MRI showed that my Tendon was still torn in 4 places the largest tear being 5.5cm the tears were in the middle between all the graft material. Then my doctor went on to Say there is extensive Scar tissue damage from the unneeded and overused graft material along with damage to other tendons from the scar tissue, 

WELL we have done 2 surgeries to try and fix what Delphine Sullivan has done to me she is not a Doctor she is a Butcher, I tried calling 8 times to ask her questions when I first found out I was very nice and polite I figured I should go to her to see what she thought and ask her about the procedure she did, She would never call. 

I wrote this letter in hopes that you do not go to this so called surgeon SHE is not qualified for her field. She does outdated procedures, uses the wrong equipment (example I had a walking boot that strapped in 4 places and 1 place went around the back right into the Achilles area it hurt every time I wore the boot because it was the wrong boot for my injury) I believe Adroscoggin Valley orthopedics and Delphine Sullivan cut corners to save money with no concern for the patient at all.

Delphine Sullivan ruined my life right now at best we are hoping I get 30-40 percent function of my foot where as if she would have prepared for surgery I would be fully recovered .

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO HER OR THIS CLINIC AND IF YOU ARE GOING THERE GET OUT BEFORE THE YDO ANY SURGERY ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

(at the end of this I am asked to swear this is true to the best of my ability) I will take any test to prove it!!!! If Dr Sullivan ever reads this or any of her colleagues read this you ruined my life.
